Language Enrichment Program
Ages 5-7
The MGC Spanish class sees the importance of teaching a foreign language to the young child. Language, by virtue of the young child's power of participatory imagination can have a profound effect on the intellectual and emotional constitution of the child.
Learning a foreign language not only gives us a practical tool for life but it also teaches us flexibility in our thinking and openness to that which is foreign to us. In the early years of childhood it is important that a foreign language be taught in a purely oral form, and that the lessons are penetrated with a vast variety of poems, verse and song. This program will follow the essence of a Waldorf class in a warm, loving and relaxing environment.
Classes starting in January 2012
